Lesson 2 - Pre-Survey Foundational Knowledge
Content Objective: Students will create an eBook that illustrates the questions that will be asked in our survey. Potential respondents will be directed to read the book before taking the survey. The book will give them background information about some of the technical geography terminology used the survey. This will enable anyone, not just geography scholars, to participate in the survey.

Motivational Activity: Students will view an eBook that has been created as an example of how the assignment can be completed.
Informational Activity: Before administering the survey later in the unit, students will have to have the background information necessary to answer questions or clear up any misunderstandings people encounter while taking the survey. This Survey Research Activity will have students do research on the internet to better prepare them for the rest of the unit.
